Brisbane City Hall Clock Tower Tours

The historic landmark offers FREE guided tours of the Clock Towers every 15 minutes from 10:15am to 4:45pm. The tour is on a first come first served basis, head to level 3 for a ticket.  The clock tower is 92 metres high, with an observation platform at 76metres.

Roma Street Parklands

Spend the day outdoors enjoying the glorious 16 hectares of wide open spaces that are perfect for exploration, walking and relaxing with a picnic. The kids will love the 2 playgrounds with loads of interactive fun to discover. The park offers FREE entry.

South Bank’s Street Beach

This inner city man made beach is awesome for swimming, and water play. It’s patrolled by lifeguards (check for times) and even has it’s own Surf Club! Oh and did we mention it’s FREE?!

Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens and Lookout

Spend the day roaming the 56 hectare botanic gardens then check out the lookout where you’ll get the perfect city view – great for photo and Instagram opportunities! Entry to the attraction is FREE.

City Hopper Ferry Service

Hop on this FREE Brisbane ferry service and cruise the Brisbane River between 6am and midnight with services departing every 30 mins. You’ll travel along the Brisbane River, stopping at North Quay, South Bank 3, Maritime Museum, Thornton Street, Eagle Street Pier, Holman Street, Dockside and Sydney Street terminals.

Queensland Museum

Located in South Bank this museum features science, culture & natural history exhibits specific to the Queensland region. Many of the exhibits are FREE Check with the museum for more details. Be sure to check out Sciencentre!
