48hr Fortitude Valley Itinerary

Fortitude Valley is a lively inner-city precinct of Brisbane filled with happening night life, hip cafes, boutique shopping and some of the cities best rooftop bars. Whether you want to catch a live theatre show, pop into some art galleries or check out the rocking live music scene Fortitude Valley has it all.

You’ve got 48 hours in Fortitude Valley and so much to see and do, here’s your itinerary, waste no time and start your exploration!

Friday

Window Shopping and Check In – You’re all checked in and ready to head out and scope out your local surrounds, first stop is some window shopping through James St so you can suss out all the hot spots that catch your eye.

Apperitvo hour – Start your weekend Italian style with classic Italian Aperitivi such as Negroni and Aperol Spritz at Bucci’s Bar and Restaurant

Dinner – Feeling hungry? If you love all the smells around you, stay for dinner at Bucci’s or for mouthwatering Asian check out Chow House.

Rooftop Bars or a Wine Bar – The night life in the Valley can’t be beat, Eleven Rooftop Bar, Elixir Rooftop Bar or Brisbane’s newest favourite Mr Chester Wine Bar …or maybe all three if your up for a big night out.

Saturday

Showtime – Catch a show at the Judith Wright Centre, the foyer bar opens at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm show, or book your tickets for some of Brisbane’s best live music at The Tivoli.

Late Night Eats – You’ll love Kwan Brothers, Harajuku Gyoza or Alfred and Constance which are all licensed for you to enjoy a night cap also.

Sunday

Coffee Calls – Coffee can be found at these fabulous coffee houses Ltd Espresso, Reverends Fine Coffee, Campos Coffee and Bear Bones Speciality  for espresso and cold brews.

Pamper Session or Get Active– You deserve it, make an appointment at one of James Street’s exclusive spa’s a beauty salons for the royal treatment OR if your feeling active hire a bicycle and peddle the streets, there’s a number of City Cycle points in Fortitude Valley – It’s a cheap and easy way to see the sights.
